30. Но, вернемся к Уралу. Для человека, прожившего жизнь в западной части Союза, Заволжье это - уже почти тайга, а уж Урал, верно, - тайга сибирская,- “во глубине сибирских руд”. 

31. В сознании советского человека каждый край нес географо-экономо-идеоло ярлык. Скажем, Сибирь это - бывшая царская каторга, рoдина богатырей- панфиловцев, отстоявших Москву и Сталинград. Ну, Братская ГЭС, Aлюминиевый Гигант, Байкал, Бам, Шукшин, Синхрофазочертзнаетчто. 

32. А уж Урал… Сказочная Кузница Всех Побед! Златоуст, Блоху подковали, Кулибины, Танкоград, Магнитогорск, Бажов- сказочник, Ящерица Медной Горы, Кладовая Природы и Ракетноядерноводородного Меча, кто на нас с ним пойдет,… Челябинский обком, Урал- Оплот Отчизны! Ууух…! Запомнил этот лозунг надолго. Он встречал каждого, кто выходил из здания аэропорта “Челябинск”. Как бы давая сразу понять, что обязанности перед Отчизной тут знают и блюдут. 

33. В общем, избы - избами, дымы - дымами, а насчет модернизма-формализма, в зародыше не моги, цепи- кандалы, лесоповалы вот они рядышком с неустанной заботой и … бздительностью. Помни, пока врага уничтожают- он не дремлет! Спутники висят, сознание искушаемых отравляют, двадцать четыре часа в сутки без перерывов на обед, секс, праздники, отпуска, и ввиду приезда тещи. 

34. Хотя, - край очень интересный и красивый, сохранивший заметно, как это ни странно, быт и уклад старинного горно-заводского района, где мужик и на заводчика горбатился и натуральное хозяйство с семьей вел, и где и доменки и руднички почти что Демидовские сохранились, и избы старинные, двухсотлетние, из бревен бурых, пропитанных навечно горелым железом из дымов от соседних доменок.
