Его животныe: кабан Борька, корова Красавка, и мерин по кличке Осоавиахим, также как и блохи Юза Алешковского, великолепены. Исключительно новым здесь был показ любовного отношения героя к животному (кабан Борька) почти на сексуальном уровне!

As the satirist he continued traditions of Turgenev, Tolstoy and Chekhov, which have left to us magnificent images of animals in their communication with heroes of their novels.
His original animals: the boar Boris, a cow Krasavka, and a hoarse Osoaviahim as well as Juza Aleshkovsky's fleas, are magnificent! Extremely new was here display of love attitude of the hero to the animal (the boar Boris) almost at a sexual level.
